Joybox refund policy
At JoyBox, we want every kit to arrive complete, safe, and ready for screen-free fun.
Because JoyBox kits include DIY materials, small parts, craft items, and one-time project components, our return policy is designed to keep things fair for both families and our small business.
30-Day Return Window
We accept return requests within 30 days after your order is delivered.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- unused
- unopened
- in its original packaging
- in the same condition that you received it
- returned with all included parts, cards, inserts, and accessories

Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.
Opened or Used DIY Kits
Because JoyBox kits are hands-on DIY products, we cannot accept returns for kits that have been opened, used, assembled, partially completed, damaged during use, or missing pieces due to use.
This includes kits where materials have been removed, stickers applied, parts assembled, craft items used, liquids opened, beads mixed, science materials activated, or projects completed.

Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing parts, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Please include:
- your order number
- a clear photo of the damaged item or package
- a photo of the shipping label if available
- a short description of the issue
If the issue is confirmed, we may offer a replacement, missing-part shipment, store credit, or refund depending on the situation.
For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, JoyBox will help make it right.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at:
Orders can only be canceled if they have not yet been processed, packed, or shipped.
Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be canceled. You may request a return after delivery if the item is eligible under our return policy.
Customer Remorse Returns
If you changed your mind, ordered the wrong kit, or no longer want the item, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
For customer remorse returns:
- the item must be unopened and unused
- the customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- original shipping fees are non-refundable
- any shipping protection, gift wrapping, or handling fees are non-refundable
We do not charge a restocking fee for eligible returns.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- opened DIY kits
- used or partially used craft materials
- completed or partially completed projects
- digital downloads or printable bonus materials
- gift cards
- items damaged due to misuse
- items missing parts after being opened or used
- final sale or clearance items, if marked as such
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if the refund is approved.
If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank, card provider, PayPal, Shop Pay, or payment provider to process the refund. Processing times may vary depending on your payment method.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, a damaged item, or an incorrect item.
Exchanges
We do not guarantee direct exchanges for all items.
If you ordered the wrong kit and the item is still unopened and unused, contact us within 30 days of delivery. We may help you return the item and place a new order for a different JoyBox kit.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout. JoyBox is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address entered by the customer.
